Ashbrook was formed in 2003 pre-dominantly as a nationwide shopfitting main contractor for Edward Jones Investments Ltd, fitting out over 150 shops across the United Kingdom, from our North East base in Billingham. Through our efficient, flexible and practical approach to contract management we began to establish our client base more locally into refurbishment projects across commercial, retail, leisure, residential and educational sectors.

We are now into our second decade of trading and we continue to grow annually through our portfolio of existing clients and through our reputation in the construction and refurbishment sectors, we attract new clients. Our success is built by our multi-skilled tradesmen on site consisting of local employees, reliable subcontractors and supply chain, backed up by our experienced contracts management and surveying team. Every project is different however, our professional approach remains the same as we strive to deliver the project from tender to completion, within budget, on time and to the highest of standards.

We undertake refurbishment projects up to £1 million in value and turnover around £3million annually. We can be handing over a small £20,000 fit out in Scotland whilst mobilising an internal refurbishment for £750,000 in the North east.

Our 'can do' approach has also lead us to branch away from our specialism in refurbishment and shopfitting into diverse market sectors. We can boast experience and successful project completion in commercial new builds, barn conversions, listed building renovation, extensions and flat conversions.

We are a privately owned company with dedicated, talented and loyal staff who continue to add value to our company and support our traditional values.

We remain consistent in our support of our employees with regular training and many have developed into skilled tradesmen through our original employment as an apprentice.

We take a proactive approach to our responsibility to manage health and safety at work, with internal and external advice, refresher training, to ensure day to day compliance with our legal duties. We are fully accredited with CHAS, Safecontractor and Constructionline.
