The existing Hawkeys Building was a listed building requiring extended and regular liaison through the conservation regulatory body. The building was poorly maintained and leaking. Our works consisted of external repairs to the roofing, stone repairs, terracotta repointing and repairs, installation of a mansafe system, increased structural stability of the roof, installation of roof void access system, new conservation roof lights, cast iron rain water goods repairs/replacement, replacement of windows and external decoration with some minor plaster repairs internally. The Client had a specific budget so works were undertaken efficiently and in a timely manner throughout.
